Prior to joining the parochial school system, Mrs. Vecca was a secretary to vice president in banking for 10 years. She also held the title Business Manager of a property management company for 14 years. Within the school system, Mrs. Vecca has served as a substitute in the Waterbury School District for 5 years and has held a secretarial position in this school building since 2004.

A graduate of the American Institute of Banking, Mrs. Mascola has taken several School Advancement Workshops and Training Sessions. She has also attained a professional certificate in Child Day Care and served on the Board of Education in Naugatuck. Mrs. Mascola is a past President of the Naugatuck Exchange Club and has been serving catholic education in this school building for over 10 years. A former HSA President, her son Neil graduated in 2007 and his grandfather graduated in 1947 from St. Francis of Assisi School.

A graduate of the St. Francis of Assisi School class of 1976, Mrs. Williams began her career in this school building as a devoted volunteer and substitute teacher. Over 8 years ago, she took on the role of full-time teacher. Mrs. Williams is a mother of two children, one of whom is a student at the new St. Francis – St. Hedwig School. Before joining the school system, Mrs. Williams was Director of Sales & Marketing for Dolce International.

Mrs. Guarino began her career at St. Francis Xavier teaching Grade 4 for five years, then onto St. Joseph's in Bristol in Grade 6 for three years. She came to St. Francis of Assisi School in 1984 after the birth of her son who is a proud alum of St. Francis. Mrs. Guarino has been teaching middle school math for the last 27 years.

Many members of her family, namely her parents and children, are all graduates of St. Francis of Assisi School.

She is the mother of two - a graduate of St. Hedwig School and a student of St. Francis – St. Hedwig School.  As a previous officer of the HSA, she has been an active volunteer and a Hopes Award recipient.
